PT BAI and Mempawah Police Community Unit Celebrate Security Personnel Day with Joint Community Service at Places of Worship

Mempawah, December 13, 2024 – In commemoration of the 44th Anniversary of the Indonesian Security Unit (Satpam), PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia (BAI), in collaboration with the Community Development Unit (Binmas) of the Mempawah Police Department, organized a community service initiative to clean places of worship in Bukit Batu Village, Sungai Kunyit District. The activity took place at St. Serenus Catholic Church in Bangkam and GPdI El Shaddai Church in Bukit Batu. This initiative aimed to deliver tangible benefits to the community while highlighting the social role of security personnel in both the workplace and society.
Following a morning briefing, participants—including security personnel from PT BAI, officers from Binmas Polres Mempawah, company employees, and local residents—joined forces to clean the worship facilities. With great enthusiasm, the volunteers cleaned surrounding areas such as courtyards, parking lots, and the interiors of the church buildings.
Chief of Security at PT BAI, Noor Wijayanto, expressed his appreciation: “We extend our deepest gratitude for the noble initiative carried out by our security personnel in celebrating the 44th Satpam Anniversary through this meaningful social activity. It not only reflects concern for the cleanliness of religious sites but also exemplifies the values of unity, tolerance, and dedicated service to the community.”
Through this initiative, PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia reinforces its commitment to fostering strong synergy between the company, law enforcement, and local communities in promoting environmental cleanliness and strengthening social bonds.
