PT BAI and PT Sinergi, Members of the MIND ID Group, Distribute Food Aid to Flood Victims in Mempawah Regency
Mempawah, January 31, 2025 – PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia (PT BAI) and PT Sinergi, both part of the MIND ID Group, demonstrated their social commitment by distributing food aid to flood-affected communities in Mempawah Regency. The assistance was delivered through the Mempawah Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) as a form of support for residents impacted by the disaster.
The aid package included basic necessities such as rice, cooking oil, and instant noodles, which are expected to help ease the burden faced by those affected. This collaboration between PT BAI and PT Sinergi is part of the MIND ID Group’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR), particularly in supporting communities around its operational areas.
“We hope this assistance can help alleviate some of the difficulties experienced by the flood victims. PT BAI and PT Sinergi will continue to contribute through various social initiatives to support local communities,” said Wira, Assistant Manager for External Relations & CSR.
Desvan Erdanustie, Head of the Fire and Rescue Division at BPBD Mempawah, conveyed his appreciation for the aid and expressed hope that the synergy between the private sector and the government would continue in responding to emergencies like this.
With support from various stakeholders, it is hoped that the affected communities in Mempawah Regency can soon recover and rebuild following the disaster.
