Mempawah, January 28, 2025 – PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia (BAI) has once again demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by distributing essential food supplies to flood victims in Mempawah Regency. The aid was delivered through the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Mempawah to ensure targeted and coordinated distribution. This humanitarian effort reflects the company’s genuine solidarity and corporate social responsibility toward communities affected by the flooding. The relief package included basic necessities such as 5-kilogram sacks of rice and instant noodles. Wira Sembiring, Assistant Manager of External Relations & CSR at PT BAI, stated, “This assistance represents our concern for the community during this difficult time. We hope these food supplies can help ease their burden and support their daily needs.” BPBD Mempawah expressed appreciation for PT BAI’s support, noting that strong collaboration between social institutions and government agencies plays a crucial role in disaster response, particularly in meeting the basic needs of displaced residents. BAI’s initiative stands as a testament to the importance of synergy between corporate entities and government bodies in addressing emergency situations.
