PT BAI Wins “Top 3 Most Informative SOE” at the 2025 PWI Awards
Mempawah, February 18, 2025 - PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia (PT BAI) has been honored with a prestigious award at the 2025 PWI Awards, earning the title of “Top 3 Most Informative State-Owned Enterprise (SOE).”
The award was presented by the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) of West Kalimantan in recognition of the company’s strong commitment to delivering transparent, open, and responsive information to both the public and the media. The ceremony took place at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Pontianak and was attended by government officials, press representatives, and SOE delegates.
Wira Sembiring, Assistant Manager of External Relations & CSR at PT BAI, expressed his gratitude for the recognition. “This award motivates us to continue strengthening our communication practices and fostering strong relationships with the media and the public. We believe transparency is a key foundation for building public trust,” he said.
PWI Chairman Kundori stated that this category honors SOEs that consistently provide accurate, timely, and accessible information to the public. “PT BAI has demonstrated a strong commitment to information transparency and is truly deserving of this award,” he added.
